The Durst Lambda imager uses classic silver papers (RC) or Black and White barite.
Transfer is performed directly based on a digital file, by exposing the photosensitive support with the aid of a red, green, and blue laser beams.
The paper is then developed in Black and White chemicals, washed and dried. This technology guarantees you very high-quality productions and traditional photographic rendering.

The Piezo Charbon procedure
These Piezography Pro Cone inks, comprising carbon pigments created by Jon Cone, boast preservation and longevity that are unmatched by other procedures.

Tones: Cool, Neutral, Warm or More Warm - (Original photo: Christophe Batifoulier)
We propose you to choose among the different tonal renderings prepared by Christophe Batifoulier (PICTO) to allow you to go even further in the customization of your print.
Indeed during printing, Piezo Pro Carbon inks will be combined for a rendering to the tone of your choice which will also be accompanied in the end by the natural color of the chosen paper:
- Cool Tone has a slightly bluish appearance with cold shadows.
- Neutral Tone has a very similar appearance to a traditional baryta print.
- Warm Tone has a very slightly red appearance, close to the rendering of a traditional baryta print developed in a "warm tone" revelator.
- More Warm Tone has a slightly redder appearance with warm shadows.
The tone will be applied to all image values, from low light to high light.
Important: by its natural color (white, creamy white, warm white, ...), the selected paper will also intervene on the final rendering. Feel free to perform print tests to find the final rendering that suits you.
Digital internegative : B&W films for contact printing
Always based on your digital file, we can print at real size onto an opalescent film support in order to obtain an internegative.
The internegative is an intermediary print adapted to digital files that makes it possible to print onto B&W silver photo paper without the intermediate use of an imager.
The print is made by contact based on an internegative obtained via Black and White inkjet printing. It delivers a result that is even more appealing in small and medium format than direct printing on Lambda for silver B&W RC and Baryté silver supports (improved sharp contrast and improved control of the modeling). It is perfectly suited to limited-series prints.
Our internegatives comprise a technical border that contains cutting marks and a control range to help you make your contact prints.
As a complement to the internegative, we offer you an optional test contact print, on “neutral” Baryté paper or “warm tone” Baryté.
It is therefore possible, at the real size of a future print, either to print your original image as a negative, the inversion being performed by us using an optional Black and white silver Baryté test print, or by directly printing your image the way you have prepared it for utilization via an alternative procedure, for example.
