Your photo prints printed directly onto a rigid base !

As well as providing you with photographic and Fine Art paper printing solutions, Picto Online offers you direct printing on rigid media.
This means that your image is printed directly onto a support that has been previously adapted to your needs.
Slightly less expensive than a laminated print, this high-performance process enables you to obtain prints that are particularly resistant to indoor or outdoor conditions and can be produced in very large formats (205 cm wide).

Direct-to-substrate printing offers an interesting alternative to laminating. It allows you to hang your prints directly without framing and eliminates the need for a paper print. This means you can use these prints in difficult or damp locations, such as indoor wet rooms or outdoor exhibitions. In fact, you can organise your photo exhibitions outdoors!

We produce our prints in our Picto Grand Paris workshops on a top-of-the-range Swiss Q Print Kudu flatbed printer, a new model of top-of-the-range 3.2x2m UV LED printer.

Thanks to high-performance technology, the inks deposited on the substrate are solidified and fixed by polymerisation and drying with UV LEDs, giving you great resistance over time, even in difficult conditions (outdoor weather conditions, high humidity, etc.).

You can choose between four rigid supports, each with its own characteristics.

As with laminated printing, Dibond remains the essential medium for direct printing, much appreciated for its lightness and strength. Dibond is a black polyethylene sheet sandwiched between two aluminium sheets. It is available in 2 or 3 mm thick white or 3 mm thick brushed aluminium.
Brushed aluminium Dibond allows you to play with texture for a highly original result. Its metallic effect is perfect for architectural or urban photos, or for more conceptual and graphic work.
You can choose the direction of brushing, horizontally or vertically.

Half the cost of Dibond, PVC comes in a range of thicknesses, from 2 to 5 mm. Using the same printing technology as Dibond, the quality is the same, but because PVC is less robust, it is recommended for indoor display or more occasional use.

With its thickness of 10mm, Featherboard is highly appreciated for its lightness. Even large formats can be easily fixed to the wall using simple metal fasteners or Velcro strips.
And because it's so thick, it can also be placed on the wall. It's also ideal for events, thanks to its M1 non-flammable rating.

Finally, for a very contemporary look, you can opt for Plexiglass Printing, which can be used in a variety of ways, with many different effects possible thanks to ambient light or backlighting. Plexiglass adds relief and contrast to your images.

If you appreciate the beautiful effect of a photograph under Plexiglass with a Diasec-like finish, choose Transparent Diasec, your image is printed under high-quality transparent acrylic glass (Plexiglass). The addition of a white layer under the ink layer will give your print a white background.

If you're looking for backlit printing, look no further than our Double Ink Transparency and Double Ink Diffusion substrates (available in 3 mm). The former can be printed under the Plexiglas without a white background layer, to keep the whites of the image transparent.
The second is printed on the diffusing white Plexiglass. In both cases, the ink layer is doubled to increase contrast.

Transparent Day & Night and Diffusant Day & Night (available in 3 mm) can be exposed in natural light or backlit, turning your print into a luminous work of art when the time comes.
