The frame "The Box" is composed of
a frame of your choice which starts exactly at the edge of your draw which will have been
laminate on a 1mm aluminum plate.
With a large space the protective glass is suspended above the draft,
your image is enhanced while being protected.
Colors
Frame profile is declined in one or several colors:
- Black- White- Oak- Wenge- Gold- Black and Silver- Black and Gold- White and Silver- White and Gold
Spacer
Spacer is a special assembly that adds a gap between the glass and the laminate so that it does not touch the glass.
The distance between the laminated print and the protective glass is 1 cm, whatever the frame profile.
The color of the spacer is identical to that of the frame.
Dimension of frame profiles
The smallest frame profile starts at 15/30,
the first 15 mm value is the width and
the second is 30mm depth.
Our largest framing profile is 25/55, 25 mm value is the width and 55 mm depth.
We will favor the latter if we want to increase the volume and depth of the frame.
Glass protection
Four types of protective glasses are proposed:
- Clear glass 2mm. Economical and safe, extra-clear glass naturally filters some of the UV.
- Anti-Reflective Glass 2mm. This high quality glass undergoes a special treatment, which makes disappear reflections.
- Anti-UV + Anti-Reflection Glass 2mm. This glass for the museum guarantees a high level of UV filtration.
- Acrylic Glass (Plexiglass) 4mm. Light and strong for large frames.
The protective glass is placed in front of the print, with a large spacing to be very above the image.
Maximum frame size: 100 x 140 cm, the photo window will be 88 x 128 cm.
An effective hanging system is affixed to the back: an
extremely durable metal cable ensures secure hanging or
for large frame
a reverse rail and a wood beveled rail ensure the proper holding of the attachment.
Our advice
For a "La Boite" frame, the thicker the profile of the frame, the greater the space between the print and the glass and the greater the feeling of depth.
The choice of style and color will of course be guided according to the singularity of the image and the environment of the framed print.
Feel free to upload your image and preview the result of the final frame!
